Graduation Day may seem like a celebration at the end of your education, however, in reality it is the celebration of new beginnings. Commencement means to begin, launch, or initiate. So in retrospect, we are not saying goodbye to the past, we are celebrating new beginnings. At our Merced dentist office, we want to help you kick off your new adventure with a vibrant, bright white smile. Let us help you achieve the white teeth you want to show off to the world and in your next endeavor.
Teeth Whitening Services
There are a wide variety of over-the-counter solutions when it comes to whiter teeth. In fact, most stores have a wall of dental hygiene that can be overwhelming. What product is best for you? How does the product work? Is one better than the other? These questions may leave you confused and unsure about how to proceed. For the best solution, talk with our Merced dentist about your options.
In-office Treatment Service
The store-bought products are somewhat effective, but slow acting. With graduation day just a few weeks away, our Teeth Whitening solution gives our patients the fastest results. Instead of dealing with whitening strips or overnight, gel-filled trays, give us a call. We use a fast-acting whitening solution which is painted on your teeth. Depending on the product we use, that solution is activated by a light source or by other means. The procedure is painless and quick. You’ll leave our office with noticeable results. In addition, because we protect your gums before applying the whitening solution, you won’t have the sensitivity that is common with store options.
Caring for your Whiter Teeth
The biggest causes of stained teeth are from nicotine and dark liquids. Nicotine yellows teeth while ruining your health, as well. Talk with our Merced dentist about smoking cessation options. Coffee, dark colas, and red wine are your enemies. However, if you aren’t ready to give up your caffeine and wine, brush your teeth as fast as possible after you consume them. Your teeth will still stain, but leaving those dark beverages on your teeth gives the stain much more leverage. The use of a straw also helps draw the liquid away from the front of your teeth and adds a bit of protection to your enamel.
Once your teeth become the level of the white you want, daily upkeep with whitening toothpaste and flossing will help. Avoid smoking and drinks that stain teeth. Your lasting smile will be great and stay that way as you commence the next step in your journey.
To all of our patients in the graduating Class of 2018, we wish you the best of luck. We are so proud of all you’ve done and look forward to watching you continue to succeed.
